Supply Planning Analyst Company:Channel Islands Surfboards Location:Carpinteria, CA Job Category:Logistics Job Type:Year Round The Breakdown: The Supply Chain Analyst's primary responsibility will be executing the end-to-end Supply Chain process, from procurement through the billing cycle. This position will be involved in purchasing, inventory analysis and replenishment of orders for 3rd Party products as well as managing the invoicing and billing process for 3rd Party vendors. This highly analytical, organized and detail-oriented person will be tasked with overseeing all aspects of our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) function. What You Get To Do: Consolidating and reviewing data including but not limited to purchase orders, inventory position, receipts, and invoices as well as for researching and resolving any vendor payment issues. Optimizing inventory turns while maintaining high customer fulfillment rates cost effectively will be the primary benchmarks defining success. Monitor air/ocean shipment progress. Maintains Purchase Information Records for all Suppliers. Owns Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Partner with Sales and Product departments regarding lead times and shipping windows to ensure proper flow versus financial plan. Places and maintains Purchase Orders for all departments. Assists with the Receiving and Supplier payment process. Interfaces with suppliers, logistics, internal customers, and accounting to resolve purchase order issues. Provide feedback and input regarding internal and external supplier performance.What You'll Bring to the Team: Bachelor's degree in Business or another applicable field. Successful candidates will have 1-3 years retail experience, be out-going and energetic and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
