The Waterhog
Model Description
A good wave catcher, this mini-longboard bridges the gap between the performance oriented M-13 hybrid model and our longboard line. Low entry rocker for trimming and enough tail rocker to stay high performance. Bottom goes from flat entry with concave, to vee out the tail. Al suggests riding this as a thruster, available from 7’0″ to 8’11″. Can also be ordered as a single box with side biters.
Feedback
You want to ride tons of waves without riding a longboard.

Would you make a custom waterhog shorter then 7′?
Thanks!
Hey Zach, yes we have made them custom as short as 6’3″ even. They work great at shorter sizes.
Would you recommend this for a beginning surfer? (Or someone that hasn’t surfed in 15+ years?)
If i’m 5’11 and 185lbs, which length should i get? Thanks!
Rick,
Any size will work for you as volume measurements are more applicable to shortboards. Just keep in mind the longer it is the more waves you get but the harder to do manuevers/turns.

Hello Eduardo,
It would be much less expensive ot contact a dealer near you: http://www.cisurfboards.com/find-a-dealer/brazil/
I’m about 5’9″ and 170lbs. I have been surfing a 9’2″ for a year or so now, and want to move to something smaller without sacrificing ability to catch waves. Is this a good board for that? I was thinking either a 7’10 or 8’0…should I go shorter? Or should I go with a different board all together? I just want something stable enough for an intermediate surfer. Thank you!!
