The Strange, developed by Al Merrick, provides for quick acceleration when walking the nose and trimming. It features a deep concave in the nose which runs to a rolled vee out the tail and pinched 50/50 rails. It gives you that nostalgic feel that you’ve been searching for and is a favorite of our team inbetween competitions. An all around fun board.

The Strange is such a great longboard! A single fin that is smooth with lots of glide, I order it in a pintail, but it can work great as a square or squashtail. The concave in the nose allows you to noseride better. This board is so great for summertime fun, or to stay high and dry in winter. I prefer it with a 9.5″ or 10′ deep fin for stability and holding power. Al Merrick’s longboard shapes are every bit as good as his shortboard shapes and the years go by, this longboard design will remain an all time classic.
