Julian Wilson’s Quiver for Tahiti 2011
We frequently get asked what do the guys ride when it gets good and hollow. Well everyone is different. With Dane’s solid performances last year at Pipe and Tahiti, some of the worlds best like Julian Wilson have been relying on the Proton Step Up this year to get the job done. With a sleek outline and a curve that allows this board to not only ride the barrel well but turn in the meaty section of a wave. Julian still chose to go with a lighter glass job on his 6’1″ so hopefully they last a few rounds. But with a first round win, so far so good !
