    Hi guys,

I went up in volume on your recommendation (6’2 Rubble) and so far it’s working out great…

I wanted to get some advice, if you don’t mind on a board for indo. I go a couple of times a year to places like Lakey’s, Bali (Bingin, Ulu’s…) etc. What would you recommend for a hollow wave board, not a step-up, something that’s going to go well in hollow, fast barrels? Proton, Semi-Pro?

I’m 6’2 and about 190lbs (I over estimated last time), and if you could post the volumes that would be great.

    cheers
    Evan

Could we have some more info on board 4 – the 6 channel?

    Also – where’s TK’s quiver?

    • CI Surfboards11-07-11

Standard TK – he ordered his boards 3 days before the contest so we didn’t have time to shoot them.
      Jordy’s 6 Channel is a 6’4″ with Kelly’s MK-99 rocker. 19 1/4 x 2 5/8
Double 4oz deck, glass-on future fins. Waiting to hear back on how it went.

How does the MK-99 rocker compare to the OG MBM rocker?

What would the difference be if it was 4 channels instead of 6?

How do you figure out the volume on surfboard dimension?
    What would be a: 6’2 x 18.75 x 2.5 be?
    what about a 6’1 x19.5 x 2 3/8? Thanks

      Tom,
the volumes would change slightly given the model as some have fuller rails and different nose and tail widths.
      Approx 30L on both.

Thanks for replying. What is the difference between the Rookie and the Semi-Pro?
If I got a Rookie and a Fred Rubble what dims would you recommend for 6’2 195 pound person.
Surf ALOT but not pro. Rubble would be mushy point rookie/semi-pro barreling point.
Thanks a-lot for your time. CI best boards no matter what country!

          Tom,
The Semi Pro is much more foiled than the Rookie.
          At your size and advncaed level;
          Rubble 6’2 x 19 5/8 x 2 1/2 (31.6L)
          Rookie 6’4 x 19 1/4 x 2 7/16 (31L)
