Kelly Slater’s Quiver for Jeffreys Bay 2010

/ Kelly Slater, Quivers, Team

Kelly Slater stands above his quiver for Jbay, called the "Semi-Pro"Kelly Slater stands above his quiver for Jbay, called the "Semi-Pro"

Kelly stands above the first batch of new boards he has been working on, called the Semi-Pro(The name was inspired by a story Dane Reynolds told to him in Brazil this year which will probably leak out later). Although he is still working on this model, it is in essence a marriage between Dane’s Proton and Kelly’s model, The Tangent. Kelly will be debuting this board most likely in a rounded pin tail at J Bay this week. So far he has been riding them around 5’9″ to 5’10″ approximately 18 1/4″ to 18 3/8″ and 2 1/4″ with a concave deck and tri and quad fin options. Will have to wait and see how they go for him but, from the footage I saw of him testing them in South America, he is on point with his new board direction for this style of wave. Of course he has some 5’1″1 Tangents in his quiver, similiar to what he has one in the past.
