Rip Curl Pro Portugal ~ Part 3

  • 04.16.2021

The final day saw two CI Team riders going head to head in the second heat of the semis, with Jordy Smith going for the world title and Conner Coffin going for critical requalification points… after swooping in late underneath the lip on a set, and then getting blown out straight into a grab rail cutback, earning a 9 point ride… Conner advanced to the finals and squashed Jordy’s world title dreams. Conner eventually went down to the newly crowned world champion (John John Florence) and earned himself a well deserved 2nd place (8000 points)
